Boasts a variety and different types of ranges at the Academy range complex, which are all on Academy training site. EIA have a selected method of training on a variety of weapon systems
These include the following:
Purpose Built Simulator.
Where training can be realistic. The system puts trainees in the center of an interactive theatre which causes responses to potentially deadly mistakes, indecision, and sudden fear, partial understanding, blindside surprise, eye-blink responses and life and death choices. The simulator gives trainees the coaching they could never receive in actual field operations and provides situational experiences far beyond the capability of conventional training. The simulator incorporates a shoot back system and devastatingly effective tool to train for effective use of cover. Instructor- aimed small cannon are mounted above the centre screen to fire.68 calibre nylon projectiles synchronized with video scenario. The cannon fires accurate single shot or 3 round full automatic fire.
450 meter Range
This range can be utilized to shoot a variety of high calibre weapon systems.
The range has the capability to shoot single shot or fully automatic,
Weapons of the clients choice.
The Academy has 5 refurbished ranges, which can be utilized to the client's requirements and needs.
The ranges vary in distance from 50 metres to 100 metres, the ranges can also be used for firing from vehicles on the move or Close quarter Battle. |
